Pregnancy Yoga & Postnatal Classes

I have attended both the pregnancy yoga and baby massage ran by Anna! I must say I thoroughly enjoyed both classes, and Anna herself is so lovely and welcoming! I started pregnancy yoga when I was 14 weeks pregnant and continued through until I was full term, this is definitely a reflection of how much I enjoyed the classes, they were really relaxing after a long day at work and it was lovely to meet lots of other expectant mums. My baby girl really enjoyed baby Massage and yoga, the massage techniques have helped relax her during her bedtime routine, and she really enjoyed the signing during the class. Thank you Anna, I’m sure we’ll be back onto another course sometime soon.

I first found Anna, when I started attending her pregnancy yoga classes and thank god I did! They were a little break in the evening for me and I looked forward to every session! The classes really helped when I was in labour as I felt a little more in control of what was happening! I then started the baby massage and yoga classes when my daughter was two weeks old and I still use some of the techniques now and she still loves the songs that we learnt in the classes! (My daughter is 16 months old!)
I would highly recommend all of Anna’s classes!

She’s a kind and patient class leader who really listens and adapts if you can’t manage any of the moves. It was lovely to have somewhere I could go to do yoga after giving birth but also have my baby there with me and feed her if she needed it. The classes are so relaxed; I’d highly recommend them and Anna as a teacher.

I have attended Anna pregnancy yoga classes and also baby yoga. Anna is really lovely the classes are small and friendly and I got a lot out of both classes. The pregnancy one really helped with my labour. Managed in 4 hours with only gas and air and sure that was down to breathing and relaxing as guided by Anna. Would definitely recommend both classes.

I took Anna’s pregnancy yoga class with both my pregnancies. I really enjoyed the sessions and always left feeling like I’d given myself time to really relax and focus on myself. The yoga was gentle with a lovely relaxation session at the end, and Anna has such a relaxing voice I often fell asleep during this! Anna is so friendly and welcoming. The classes also gave me a chance to meet other mums. They always began with each person introducing themselves and when I did the morning group, we often used to go for coffee afterwards.

Closing the Bones:

I had a closing bone ceremony with Anna in December. Since childbirth 4.5 years ago I always used to feel and see my tummy in weird shape and felt that nothing inside have gone back to their original place!
My friend who also had a session with Anna recommended me this. Anna was wonderful. When she said I will know the difference I wasn’t so sure. But I actually did. I can feel my organs inside a lot more where they should be!! It was a very new concept for me and I was a bit sceptical. But now after my first session I have booked another one with Anna and looking forward to it!!

I had a great experience with Anna on Closing bones and let me share my experience. Firstly, the air was scented with lavender and decorated with candles. We had a quick chat about what ‘closing the bones’ meant and about what she would be doing during the treatment. Rebozo Work – When I laid down, there was a rebozo (a large scarf) positioned under my hips and Anna stood over me gently lifting my hips off the floor. I think she spent about 10-15 minutes gently rocking. My hips were swaying from side to side and it felt lovely.

We then moved on to the massage, this consisted of several techniques, where it felt like Anna used different parts of her magical hands and wrists to gently massage my tummy. It was bliss!
Thanks Anna for pampering me for an hour, you are very talented.

I would highly recommend all of Anna’s classes, I loved attending them as it was always much needed me time. The classes were always relaxed and informative – Anna is lovely and is a great teacher- she’s great at what she does.
My closing the bones massage was amazing – give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Sound Healing Massage:

I had my first sound massage 3 days ago and it was beautiful. I started sitting up, then lay on my stomach and then on my back. The vibrations of the bowl surrounded me and moved throughout my body. At the end, I had lovely tingling like a light shower go down my back from shoulders, down my arms and tingling all over my head – heaven! I’d also had an energetic pain in my left foot for a couple of months, which hasn’t reappeared since the treatment. If you’re debating whether to try it, stop and just book in with Anna. Will definitely have again x
